Mature Products and Services (MPS) is a vertically integrated business unit in ASML with locations in Europe, United States and Asia, catering to a wide variety of customers in the mature market space. MPS competes in a completely different world than the rest of ASML, where cost reduction and end of life management are of paramount importance. Being the smallest ASML business unit, we need to do more and cost less, we must innovate and reimagine the mature equipment market in order to maintain a profitable ecosystem. Quality management is a key focus area within MPS.
As an intern in our team, you will support initiatives defined to drive quality performance up. Your main challenge will be to investigate and propose a more effective way to control “Factory Quality” in building 21 of ASML. This entails capturing input from the field, analysis, process assessments, quality checklists, documentation, etc. The approach will be defined in blocks: e.g. disassembly, repair, assembly, test, and install.
