So when we told our editors that they had to go through all these jobs and hand-pick their top three, we got a few dirty looks. Troopers that they are, they did come up with a list but the lack of consensus resulted in five cool job picks this week.

For the physics nerds out there, there is a chance to actually work at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. Now, that’s not what the job is called. It is in reality titled “Postdoc position — Experimental High-Energy Heavy-Ion Physics (ALICE experiment)”. It’s a 2-year appointment in the Netherlands. We hear summer is beautiful there.
