The Role:
Our site in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer Co-op to join our team.
This is a Fall 2024 Co-op, running from June/July – December.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform root cause analysis for complex issues related to our CMP pads
- Work with Product Improvement Engineering team to perform root cause analysis and resolution to issues related to customer concerns
- Partner with wide variety of internal teams to address issues and ensure proper issue resolution
- Learn statistical processing
- Obtain external customer facing experience
- Be part of a global team that is designed to improve success of Entegris with our customers

What We Seek:
- Desired Field of Study: BS/MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar field of study
- Proficiency with MS Excel is required
- Experience with JMP or other statistical analysis software is a plus
- An analytical mindset is a requirement for this role
- Strong initiative and willingness to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professionalism, integrity and high degree of accountability
- Ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels and functional groups within the organization
- Ability to leverage technical knowledge and tools to drive continuous improvement
