Our internship program provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Intern will support the Maintenance Department in improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and advancing continuous improvement initiatives, working alongside experienced maintenance and engineering professionals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment, machinery, and facility-related issues.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Support TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives and maintenance best practices.
  • Maintain and update maintenance records, equipment history, and KPI reports.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of maintenance procedures and standard work.
  • Support spare parts inventory control and organization.
  • Participate in safety inspections and ensure compliance with company safety standards.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to improve equipment performance.
  • Lead or support a continuous improvement project focused on maintenance efficiency and equipment reliability.
  • Present project progress and results to department leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Continuous Learning Mindset

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals.
