As a Process Engineer, you will lead initiatives to design, optimize, and implement cutting-edge processes that enhance production efficiency, improve quality, and introduce new technologies. Our Team

The Optical Connectivity segment within the OSBU division is dedicated to delivering high-quality, innovative solutions for fiber optic products. As part of this team, you will collaborate closely with customers, business units, and colleagues to ensure operational excellence and exceed industry standards. With a focus on continuous improvement and cutting-edge technology, our team thrives on problem-solving and creating value for our customers.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and deploy optimized manufacturing processes for optical connectivity products to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Design, quote, and manage tooling and peripherals required for production, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Document standard work processes and provide training to operational personnel, ensuring compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Lead engineering changes, technical implementations, and layout optimizations to support continuous improvement.
  • Introduce new technologies and methods to enhance manufacturing capabilities and promote innovation.
  • Actively support 5S, EHS, quality, and lean initiatives by identifying and recommending improvements in processes and practices.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Photonics, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Industrial preferred).
  • Proven experience in Process Engineering, New Product Introduction (NPI), or Product Engineering.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in optical connectors assembly processes.
  • Proficient in using quality tools (e.g., 8D, PDCA, 5W) and statistical analysis methods.
  • Conversational-level proficiency in English.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with fiber optic manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in modeling software (e.g., Siemens NX).
  • Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma.
  • Technical project management experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in introducing and managing new technologies in manufacturing environments.
