Your Job

As a Process Engineer at Molex, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing manufacturing processes based on product specifications. Your work will actively contribute to production lines by implementing, controlling, and improving productive processes. You will employ analytical thinking to solve floor problems and maintain process documentation aligned with workstations or operations.

Our Team

You will be part of the Global Shared Plants (GSP) division, located in Guadalajara. Our team is committed to excellence in manufacturing and process engineering, ensuring that we meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency across our global operations.

What You Will Do

  • Develop manufacturing processes that align with product specifications to enhance production efficiency.
  • Actively participate in production lines to implement, control, and improve processes.
  • Solve floor problems using analytical thinking and maintain process documentation.
  • Engage in the development and release of internal control documents, such as visual aids and control plans.
  • Use and knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and apply statistical control methods.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial, electronic, mechatronic, or mechanical engineering.
  • Advanced conversational English skills for international collaboration.
  • Experience with SAP and advanced use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proven experience in supervision and/or manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to coordinate, execute, follow up, and solve problems in projects with support and service areas.
  • Experience in establishing short and medium-term strategic quality plans with continuous result measurements.
  • Familiarity with international quality systems (ISO, QS, TS).

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Knowledge in Poka Yoke systems and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Skills in analyzing and applying corrective actions (RAC, RDP, 8D).
  • Ability to balance and optimize production lines using the Kaizen method.
