As a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving process improvements and innovation within the optics connection segment. Leveraging your expertise in process engineering, you will implement high-impact solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce human dependency, and support the production of cutting-edge technologies. Our Team

You will be part of the Optical Solutions Business Unit (OSBU), a dynamic team dedicated to operational excellence and process transformation. The team focuses on high-volume production processes, targeting up to 600K terminations, while integrating automation and new technologies to deliver innovative solutions. Collaboration and continuous improvement are at the core of our vision.

What You Will Do

  • Design, deploy, and manage productive processes for optical transceiver manufacturing.
  • Optimize tooling and peripherals to streamline production while meeting quality standards.
  • Develop and document standard work processes and provide training to operational personnel.
  • Lead engineering change implementations and contribute to layout design and optimization.
  • Introduce new technologies and methods to enhance automation and process efficiency.
  • Support initiatives such as 5S, EHS, Quality, and Lean programs, advocating for continuous improvement and operational safety.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Advanced proven experience in Process Engineering, NPI, or Product Engineering.
  • Solid knowledge and experience with SMT or electromechanical assemblies.
  • Strong proficiency in statistical tools and problem resolution methodologies (e.g., 8D, PDCA, 5W).
  • Conversational Profency English level for international communication.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Degree specialization in Photonics, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience working with fiber optics, electronic boards, or silicon photonics product assembly.
  • Automation background and familiarity with advanced technologies.
  • Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma or technical project management expertise.
  • Demonstrated success in driving large-scale process improvements and managing cross-functional teams.
