Introduction

The focus of the semiconductor industry (and other industries simultaneously) is more and more on a green environment and circular economy. ASML is committed to play a strong role in this and has its own Re-Use Engineering department. This internship takes place in the Improvement Engineering group within the Re-Use department.

Your assignment

As an intern in the Improvement Engineering Re-Use group, you will support in translating data to useful information to help the R&R engineering activities. Your main responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Collect and update enterprise data and process it to a business friendly data format;
• Build and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) processes;
• Support maintenance of business analysis and reporting to relevant stakeholders;
• Study automation proposals.

Your profile

To be a match for this internship, you:

• Are a bachelor or master student with an educational background related to Data Analytics or Artificial Intelligence;
• Have proven knowledge and experience in Spotfire, Power BI, SQL, Python, and Databricks;
• Are self-driven, like to work in a technical environment, are structured and eager to learn;
• Have good communication skills and are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.

This is an internship (non-thesis/graduation) for a minimum duration of 5 months for 4-5 days per week. The start date of this internship is as of September onwards.

Other requirements you need to meet:

• You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
• Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
• You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
• If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
