Job Description

In your new role you will:

  • Scan Leads, distribution projects, and the market to identify new high-potential customers (Moonshots)
  • Evaluate high-potential customers against predefined criteria in close cooperation with an experienced peer and the responsible distributor teams
  • Create a business case for potential Winners
  • Drive business case presentations to required stakeholders to get the required support to execute the defined strategy
  • Work closely with business segments and the division marketing department to identify the right newcomers in newly identified target market segments
  • Align with other Infineon departments, all customer-facing activities to ensure that new customers are always approached with our organization's involvement
  • Execute the defined strategy in cooperation with the subregional responsible field sales engineer and the distribution partner in charge of the customer

Your Profile

You recognize opportunities and have a good sense for profitable business ideas. You are personally committed to the customer’s concerns and give them a high priority. You cooperate across boundaries and appreciate the contributions of other people. In your daily work, you pursue high quality. In addition, excellent personal time management enables you to handle complex situations even under time pressure.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A degree in electrical engineering or a similar field
  • Gained 0-1 years of professional experience in a sales or marketing function
  • Analytical skills and ability to evaluate, analyze, and structure complex business cases
  • Skills as a team player
  • Strong communication and networking skills
  • High degree of self-motivation and initiative to tackle challenging and long-term programs
  • Excellent personal time management
  • Willingness to travel as required to fulfil the duties of this position
  • Fluent in English and German, both verbally and in writing
