DRAM Engineering Group (DEG) Munich, Germany, is where innovation meets excellence! Our diverse team owns the way in groundbreaking graphics DRAM design and process engineering, driving the future of memory technology. Based in the vibrant city of Munich, we are a hub of creativity and technical prowess, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what's possible. From conceptual design to final implementation, verification and production support, we ensure every step is driven with precision and passion.

Role Overview

Join our Graphics DRAM team as a Product Engineering Intern, where you'll support the development and validation of high-performance memory solutions for gaming, AI, and data center applications. Collaborating with teams across Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, and the US, you'll gain hands-on experience in product qualification, test development, and quality assurance for next-generation GDDR memory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and validating test patterns on ATE and Bench Testers for GDDR DRAM.
  • Support yield, test time, and quality improvement efforts in production.
  • Help analyze test failures and customer returns alongside senior engineers.
  • Run basic chip simulations to identify potential test or design issues.
  • Contribute ideas for improving testability and reducing costs through DFT and circuit improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s or final-year Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science.
  • Strong academic performance and curiosity about semiconductor testing and product engineering.
  • Familiarity with digital and analog electronics through coursework or projects.
  • Basic programming skills in Python, C/C++, or Unix scripting.
  • Exposure to tools like Jira, Confluence, or SharePoint is a plus.
  • Understanding of basic statistical methods (e.g., regression, descriptive stats, DoE) is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Analytical mindset and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude toward learning and contributing.
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in English.
  • Interest or coursework related to DRAM or memory architecture is a bonus.
