Role Overview

As a Product Engineer in the Graphics DRAM domain, you will develop, validate, and optimize high-performance memory solutions for gaming, AI, and data center applications. Working with teams across Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, and the US, you will define product specifications, manage qualification cycles, and ensure quality, performance, and reliability standards from development to high-volume manufacturing. Your work will impact next-generation GDDR memory technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, document, and validate test patterns on ATE and Bench Testers to support GDDR DRAM ramp-up and mass production.
  • Support production teams in improving yield, test time, and quality.
  • Lead root cause analysis of test failures and returns, working with design and quality teams to implement fixes.
  • Run chip simulations of test patterns to catch potential test and design issues early.
  • Propose new DFT and circuit designs to enhance testability and reduce costs.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in electrical engineering, physics, or computer science, with strong academic performance.
  • 3+ years of experience in semiconductor product or test engineering, covering both digital and analog electronics.
  • Successfully led at least 3 new product bring-ups (First Silicon) within deadlines.
  • Demonstrated 10–15% improvements in yield and test time through data analysis, test tuning, and pattern optimization.
  • Organized and methodical, with hands-on experience in at least 3 tools: Jira, Asana, Trello, Confluence, SharePoint, Bitbucket.
  • Proficient in at least 2 programming languages: Python, C/C++, or Unix scripting.
  • Skilled in statistical methods, with experience in at least 3 areas: DoE, SPC, yield/Pareto analysis, regression, descriptive stats, or data parsing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills (i.e. definition and application of standardized root cause analysis workflows).
  • Proactive and independent work style (e.g., identifying process issues and implementing corrective measures).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proficient English (i.e. ability to adapt messages for different audiences and deliver engaging presentations).
  • Preferred: at least 1 year of experience with DRAM architecture, particularly in graphics applications (e.g., GDDR).
