Mechanical Engineering Intern

We are looking for hard-working and highly motivated Mechanical Engineering students for summer internship or co-op positions. Our paid internship program gives students an opportunity to apply their skills while working on real-world projects. Previous students have found the Curtiss-Wright program to be a very valuable learning experience.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an Appropriate Engineering program at an accredited university
  • Strong creative, analytic, problem-solving, decision-making and collaboration skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office
  • Willingness to learn, adapt and build experience in a development and production environment

Desired Skills: M

  • 3D modelling Design and Simulation experience (CREO or Solidworks preferred)
  • Enjoys working with their hands
  • Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Responsibilities:

  • Function as a member of a development team to support new design concepts and technologies.
  • Research new technologies, hardware, and concepts to help improve product development
  • Support prototypes and experimental setups. Document and report findings
