Design Engineering Intern

About Us:

PacSci, headquartered in Chandler, Arizona, is a leading explosives manufacturer. We are seeking a dynamic Design Engineering Intern to join our team in Hollister, CA. In collaboration with PacSci leadership and our site engineering teams, this role will play a pivotal part in supporting programs and processes to drive business excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Design Engineers in completing sustainment engineering milestones such as failure analysis and simulations 
• Actively participate in Group Design Reviews.
• Work within our Configuration Management System to manage program documentation
• Participate in project management
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Perform data reporting and analysis, encompassing qualitative and quantitative aspects, across various projects.

Basic Qualifications:

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Solidworks, Data Analysis tools and other relevant business/engineering software. 
• Excellent organizational skills.
