More about the role

As an Intern in the Lighting Technology team, you'll be responsible for assessing the potential of making luminaires without a rubber seal that are still sufficiently waterproof.

• Benchmark several maze-based IP sealing systems for outdoor luminaires
• Design and 3D print yourself multiple maze-based sealing systems
• Test these prototypes to check how well water tight they are
• Optimize the design for cost, performance, size, manufacturability
• Translate the knowledge into new design rules for future luminaire products.

• You are on the way to getting an engineering degree (BSc, mechanical engineering).

• You like the combination of CAD design work, prototype making, do-it-yourself testing, analyzing results and conclude
