This position requires a bachelor's degree or an associate degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering technology, Construction or Industrial Electricity or a related field plus five (5) years electrician experience. An equivalent combination of education and directly related work experience may be considered.
Ideal candidates must have actual work knowledge of electrical construction, wiring methods, trade practices, materials based on the National Electric Code in a residential, commercial, or industrial setting. Candidates must also be knowledgeable with DC/AC circuits, generators, motors, transformers, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Teaching/training experience in a related area and current electrician license is a plus. Candidates must be able be willing to instruct evening courses.
