Job Responsibilities

Trident Technical College in North Charleston, SC invites applications for in-person adjunct positions for the fall and spring semesters. These positions are based on TTC's Thornley Campus for the summer and fall semesters but candidates must be willing to provide online services as needed.

Candidates selected for an interview may be asked to complete skills assessments, such as a teaching demonstration. Preference is may be given to applicants with previous teaching experience and who are available to teach in-person at other TTC campuses or sites.

Instructors will teach Public Speaking and Interpersonal Communication courses in a traditional classroom setting.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

To qualify for these adjunct faculty positions applicants must have an earned master's degree in speech communication or a master's in a related area with 18 graduate credit hours in speech communication.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous teaching experience is desirable. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
