The Product Design Engineer is responsible for the design development of new or existing products, in line with planning, process, quality and cost targets. He/she produces complete engineering designs translated in CAD models and creates all the associated documentation. The main missions of the role are to:
1.Create/review product design based on specification
2. Analysis styling feasibility
3. Initiate tolerance simulation analysis & identify tolerances for each part
4. Create functional drawings / Typical sections
5. Mange CAD resource (internal/external/India…) / design timing plan
6. Lead Design FMEA activity
7. Define action in case defect from CAE simulaiton ,CNC / Proto building…
8. Communicate with SPDE/PDL,ME, Quality
9. In front of customer for presentation /communication, in case no dedicate SPDE in program
10. Other tasks assigned by Line Manager
Qualifications : The ideal candidate will have/be:
1. Min 3 years interior system work experience required (IP, DP, console prefer)
2. Catia V5 required
3. GD&T, RPS knowledge requied
4. English communication required
5. Basic injection, foaming, slush process knowledge
6. Basic packaging, human factors, regulation knowledge
