You will be working as Service Sales Specialist at global grade 15 and will be part of Electrification business area for Services division based in Vadodara, India. In this role you will be reporting to Service Sales Manager and will be responsible for generating service sales opportunities and securing profitable sales within the designated areas. Focusing on installed base penetration (IB) and selling the entire service product portfolio in collaboration with other ABB service units

Your responsibilities

  • Understanding the channel strategy and establishing of related prices and preparing sales plans, reviewing them and proposing recovery plans when needed
  • Generating service sales leads and developing new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying and exploring potential new service portfolios
  • Selling entire service sales product portfolios to expand ABB footprint in the designated areas
  • Acting as a marketer or salesperson of ABB’s service sales product and solutions during marketing activities (trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings)
  • Contributing to risk management related to price and quality. Registering required information into the appropriate customer database
  • Ensuring technical reliability, safety and cost-effective solutions to satisfy customer’s needs. Complying with health and safety directives

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of sales experience in service field of LV switchgear solutions
  • Should have experience in sales, business development, end user connect, SAP - MM/SD,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
