The mission of this role: Mechanical design and development of parts and electronic products for the automotive industry.

Key Objectives of this Role:

• Mechanical design and development of electronics products for the automotive industry;
• Mechanical design (plastic/metal/sheet metal). 3D CAD Design (in CATIA V5); 2D Drawings; Stack-up analysis; Feasibility studies.
• Mechanical support of the products and productions - release, changes, etc.;
• Building and/or updating CAD models and drawings of the parts and products;
• Project management and process compliance activities.

Qualification, Experience and Skills: 

• Bachelor's / Master’s degree in the field of mechanical engineering or related;
• 3D models design – parts and assemblies (CAD Tool – CATIA V5);
• 2D drawings preparation (CAD Tool – CATIA V5);
• Tolerance stack-up;
• GD&T ( Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing);
• Feasibility studies;
• DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis);
• DFAM
• Mechanical project management activities;
• Customer and suppliers communication;
• Fluent in verbal and written English;
• Advanced knowledge in: - Electronics products - Plastic parts design - Die casting and decoration technologies.
