Boise Cascade has an opening for an Sales & Marketing Internship. This position offers you the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of real-life sales activities . You will learn about customer service, marketing, sales, and interdepartment collaboration. You will participate in helping to improve processes, programs, and resources. 

Responsibilities

Learn the organization's policies, processes, products and/or services and perform duties based on the incumbent’s functional work assignment. Acquire industry knowledge and apply educational knowledge, skills and abilities to complete work assignments. Will receive close supervision and work with regular checks on progress with verification of completeness and accuracy of work. Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous process improvement. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • High school diploma and or GED
  • Seeking a bachelor’s degree and must have completed sophomore level coursework prior to employment. 
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • General office experience, knowledgeable in the basic operation of standard telecommunications and office equipment is preferred.
  • Part Time Internship
  • Must be able to work onsite in, of our (2) offices in Sugar Land, Tx locations.
