As an intern at Synopsys, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working alongside industry professionals. You will build and refine skills relevant to your major and future career.

What you will learn and do:

Working as a part of DDR/HBM/UCIE PHY Release team, the candidate will be involved in building and verification of DDR/HBM/UCIE PHY components, running synthesis, RTL and gate-level simulation and debugging failures. The candidate will also be involved in maintenance of BOMs and run QA on PHY packages to ensure they match the BOM. The candidate may also be involved in automation of Release flow.

Requirements:

• Enrolled in Computer or Electrical Engineering program or graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in 2022-2023.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems and scripting (Python, Perl, bash, TCL)
• Understanding and knowledge of models used in IP design (GDSII, LEF, LIB, Verilog, etc.)
• Understanding of the analog and digital design flows
• Basic knowledge of Synopsys tools is an asset
• Work experience in IC design and verification is an asset
• Good verbal and written English is required
