Nokia Bell Labs is building the future of human experience and our interns will have the opportunity to learn from and work with industry leading experts, who solve the most formidable challenges confronting our world through disruptive innovation and research.

Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will work on ONE or MULTIPLE of the following:

  • Design and implement research ideas in the fields of AI/ML, Large Language Models (LLMs), Intelligent Edge, etc. 
  • Work on developing solutions using Deep Neural Networks, Reinforcement Learning, Federated Learning, etc. 
  • Different concepts of Autonomous networks 
  • Work on research topics in the direction of signal processing, optical fiber, etc. 
  • Understand, design, and implement GPU / Compute sharing solutions.
  • Understand Smart Energy Management
  • Publish findings in reputable journals.
  • Develops skills to carry out basic, repetitive, manual tasks that are described in detail and conducted under close supervision.
  • Have no discretion to vary from established procedures.

REQUIRED SKILLS

You have:

  • You are enrolled in a PhD program in a relevant domain or have recently finished your PhD
  • Good knowledge regarding the machine learning concepts. Having knowledge on convolutional neural networks is an asset.
  • Being autonomous with open source libraries (TensorFlow/Keras, PyTorch,…) and being fluent in Python are pre-requisite.
  • Some bases in telecommunication and signal processing are a plus.
  • Large autonomy in the work, ability to ask for support, good communication, strong attention to details, … are essential skills for this type of internship..
