About the Role:As a Staff Software Engineer at Alluxio, you will be responsible for leading and evolving the state-of-the-art Alluxio project.. The work would involve solving challenging problems in the area of Distributed Data Services, memory and data structure efficiency, thread concurrency, locking optimizations, caching policies and implementation.
As the Staff Software Engineer - CyberSecurity at Alluxio, What You Will Be Able To Build and Owner：
1.The role would include developing innovative solutions for scaling systems to thousands of nodes and providing data durability and high availability.
2.Develop and implement security solutions to protect our product as a Big Data and AI/ML infrastructure software.
3.Conduct security assessments, code reviews, and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.
4.Collaborate with engineering team members to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
As the Staff Software Engineer - CyberSecurity at Alluxio, What We are Looking For:
1.BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
2.Software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, or Go.
3.Proven experience in software security engineering, within big data and/or AI/ML infra systems.
4.Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies such as Kerberos, LDAP, Apache Ranger
5.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6.Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.
As the Staff Software Engineer - CyberSecurity at Alluxio, We Would Appreciate If You Have：
1.Master’s, PhD degree, further education or equivalent practical experience in engineering, computer science or other technical related field.
2.Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, or Go.
3.Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
4.Knowledge of cloud security best practices and experience securing cloud-based systems
5.Contributed or contributing to Alluxio.
