Group/Division
SPTS wafer processing solutions include market-leading silicon etch, dielectric etch, dry-release etch, PVD, PECVD and molecular vapor deposition (MVD®), available with a range of wafer-handling options applicable to R&D, pilot production, or volume production environments. SPTS is headquartered and has its main manufacturing facility in Newport, UK, with additional manufacturing in Allentown, Pennsylvania. SPTS operates across 19 countries in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific, and offers comprehensive service and spare parts support through a worldwide network of service centers and qualified local agents.
Job Description
Purpose of the role
The Copy Exact (CE!) Materials & Planning Engineer is a key role withing the CE! team and its overall success in managing our top customer. This role will involve working with different departments within KLA Newport. The primary focus of the role with be the liaison between CE! and the purchasing, commodity, spares and logistics, global warehouse teams. This role requires collaborative skills to form small teams to ensure we have the vital material to build top customer systems across our range of process applications. In addition, there will also be the requirement to discuss component change with our customers to reassure on our due diligence and dedication on quality and manufacturability. This is an exciting new role within the company and will therefore be developed over the next few years.
