Contributes to the clinical functions of medical imaging in terms of quality assurance, quality control, and optimization/reconfiguration of imaging equipment for fulfilling regulatory requirements from state, federal, ACR accreditation, and joint commission. Participates in patient radiation estimation, management, and consultation. Performs a key role in clinically oriented medical physics research and development projects. Contributes to the educational activities, including but not limited to medical physics and technology lectures for fellows, residents, and staff; hands-on fluoroscopy radiation safety training for medical trainees; mentorship for the medical physics residency program of Radiology.

The academic faculty appointment will be based upon your primary specialty (e.g. the Department of Radiology) at Harvard Medical School. Appointment as an Instructor or Assistant Professor will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements in addition to teaching activities. Candidates are expected to participate in the teaching activities of the Harvard Medical School for medical students, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
