The Role and Team

Medallia is seeking an experienced Benefits professional to support our International Benefits programs and contribute to our global benefits philosophy and strategy. You will partner in the delivery of benefits programming that is truly impactful to the employee experience, through support & management of end-to-end benefits design and administration.

Responsibilities

  • Subject matter expert for international benefits and leaves.
  • Provide an efficient and responsive operational Benefits service to Medallians in the EMEA & APAC regions, including all aspects of plan management.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders (vendors, third-party administrators, internal partners, etc.) to ensure programs are effectively communicated, implemented, and operationalised.
  • Lead continuous improvement opportunities by evaluating existing policies and processes for efficiencies, identifying improvements and implementing enhancements.
  • Develop & deliver engaging employee benefit communications and education initiatives based on new or cyclical events.
  • Act as the Tier Two escalation point for employee benefit issues, internally and externally.
  • Manage benefit spend, including reconciliation, approvals and tracking in partnership with Finance teams.
  • Contribute to Medallia’s international benefits strategy, in line with local benchmarks, compliance and other regulations, liaising with senior stakeholders & HR Business Partners to align our programs, support and understand business strategy & objectives.
  • Actively contribute, participate and engage in the People & Culture function, through meetings, projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Deliver Benefits Program information and enablement sessions to People & Culture partners, Employees & People Managers.
  • Flexibility to be in our London office 1 to 2 days per week.

Key Projects

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and Workday consultants to redesign country specific time off and leave plans
  • Draft and contribute to key people policies and internal processes
  • Management of benefit technology solutions 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years experience in Human Resources with at least 3 years experience in Benefits (e.g. program renewals, partnering with brokers or vendors, delivery of benefits programming or similar)
  • 1 year of international benefits programs experience within the EMEA region
  • At least 6 months equivalent work experience at a Consultant or Manager level
  • Demonstrated experience writing or contributing to employment policies
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong Microsoft Word and PowerPoint / Google Docs skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Tech industry
  • Experience using HRIS systems, particularly Workday
  • Proven success working in a matrixed, global HR team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; with proven ability to influence business leaders at all levels
  • Ability to work independently; determine necessary analyses, conduct analyses and make plan design recommendations; demonstrated project management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to complete multiple tasks in a timely manner and under strict time constraints
