JOB SUMMARY:

The Audiology Clinical Applications Specialist (m/f/d) role includes the demonstration and training of all devices within Natus Hearing and Balance portfolio with the Distribution partners and Direct country ANZ at Clinical Locations. The role also consists in software, hardware, technical, and PC demonstrations to work towards prompt resolution of the order, maximize customer satisfaction and to promote a quality image of Natus. In addition, the Clinical Application Specialist will actively promote Natus from a Clinical Marketing perspective, drive local market intelligence, promote various “Natus” Academies and drive to create a network of Key Opinion Leaders. Specified region is ANZ.

The Audiology Clinical Application Specialist may be asked to support the Development of existing and new products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following and may include additional duties as assigned

  • Stay up-to-date and follow all Quality System procedures related to this job, which can affect the quality of products or services provided to our customers.
  • Develop and maintain detailed insight into the Natus Medical ANZ product catalogue and respective software packages, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of evolving product development.
  • Support Sales team for product demonstrations, tender applications regarding Natus products offered in the assigned region (ANZ).
  • Monitor the competitive environment across product lines and services, to maintain the awareness as well as remaining up to date in current research and test protocols for Product Development.
  • Support sales initiatives by attending regional conventions, trade shows and via communication with distributors and sales representatives.
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales manager for the strategy of the department.
  • Support Marketing regarding establishing and keeping contact with potential key opinion leaders.
  • Link between R&D and sales force.
  • Provide consistent and professional audiological support for all products to customers, distributors and internal colleagues through face-to-face interaction, telephone calls and email.
  • Communicate solutions/resolutions/answers in a timely manner.
  • Maintain domain specific knowledge by regularly attending relevant courses on audiology, fitting, balance, etc.
  • Use CRM system to document and communicate product issues and complaints to internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct regional seminars and trainings.
  • Coordinate training and support activities with Audiology Development Manager and Regional Sales Managers / Customer training in advanced applications.
  • Attend and participate appropriate professional meetings within region.
  • Advanced clinical support for cases escalated by tier one product support team.

Travel Required: Extensive, up to 75% - Valid driver license needed

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Audiologist or Audiology related education or Biomedical engineer degree (Bachelor’s degree or Medical Qualifications).
  • Two to four years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience in medical devices.
  • Strong analytical skills, a high degree of flexibility and ability to manage incoming inquiries and oversee schedules tasks and projects.
  • Motivated and independent individual thinking with ability to provide analysis and feedback as issues may require.
  • Ability to work independently or with small groups of support staff.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills - Fluent English
