Job Description-

Primary Objective

  • We are looking for Mechanical/Chemical Engineer with Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering having experience in price negotiations, estimation/ proposals and or projects engineering, with proven sales track record in mechanical business sector.

Major Tasks

  • Work through other departments counting production, quality, and engineering in all stages of improvement to make sure clients' necessities are met.
  • Representing the product to clients and at field procedures like seminars and conferences.
  • Communicating among other members of the sales team plus other technical specialists.
  • Representing the product to clients and at field events like seminars and conferences.
  • Assist advertising activities through attending conferences, trade shows and other advertising procedures.
  • Offers technical knowledge throughout presentations and throughout site walks.
  • Coordinate among their clients overseas and their representatives to offer good service.
  • Working among engineering and project administration, help in organizing quotations.
  • Supervise post sales activity, working with client project directors to report present on-site circumstances and converse project status data to the client.
  • Growing and developing long term rapport among clients.
  • Supervision and interpreting client necessities.
  • Influencing clients that a service or product best satisfies their requirements in terms of price, quality and delivery.
  • Evaluating sales and costs.
  • Computing customer quotes.
  • Negotiating contract and tender terms to meet both company and customer requirements.
  • Serving in the plan of custom-made products.
  • Negotiating and closing sales through agreeing conditions and terms.
  • Creation technical presentations plus demonstrating how a product meets customer requirements.
  • Searching for fresh clients who might benefit from business services or products and maximizing client potential in elected regions.
  • Presenting after sales support services.
  • Executes site surveys, supports client meetings and interacts client requirements to project managers and engineers in order to make client quotes.
  • Organizing reports for head office.
  • Meeting regular sales achievements.
  • Maintaining and recording customer contact information.
  • Assisting advertising activities through attending trade conferences, shows and other advertising procedures.
  • Help sales employees in evaluating potential latest chances and translating the chance into a quotation.
  • Discuss contract and tender terms to meet both customer and business requirements.
  • Offering pre-sales product education and technical assistance.
  • Deliver and design product demonstrations based on the necessities and the competitive sales condition.
  • Offering producing and training support material for members of the sales team

Specific activities

  • Search for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximize client potential in designated regions
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements
  • Persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery
  • Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
  • Calculate client quotations and administer client accounts
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education
  • Work on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required
  • Arrange and carry out product training
  • Analyze costs and sales
  • Prepare reports for head office and keep customer records
  • Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects
  • Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  • Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs
  • Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
  • Provide training and produce support material for other members of the sales team.

Required Educational and professional expertise

  • Engineering Degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Petrochemical Industry
  • Languages: Fluent in spoken and written English
