In this role, you will be instrumental in providing technical expertise throughout the application development process, driving innovation, and contributing actively to the sales process. Your responsibilities will include analyzing customer requirements, applying engineering knowledge to liquid equipment systems, and leveraging problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

What you'll get to do:

  • Engage in detailed discussions with customers to understand their specific requirements and challenges.
  • Collaborate with the Liquids Team and inside sales resources to provide guidance on the best solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Coordinate product demonstrations and technical presentations within the Innovation Center and Application Workshop (ICAW).
  • Act as the sales technical consultant, addressing technical inquiries and concerns related to packaging solutions during customer interactions.
  • Oversee on-site visits and assessments, ensuring seamless integration of equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and meet customer requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitive analysis to drive product improvement and innovation.
  • Provide training and technical assistance to internal teams to enhance understanding of liquid packaging systems.
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and industry events.

What will make you successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in application engineering or a similar technical role within the packaging equipment manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with controls architecture and PLC based machine controls.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
