Job Summary:
Altair’s Inspire software environment (https://www.altair.com/inspire/) is the industry's most powerful, versatile and easy-to-use Generative Design/Topology Optimization and rapid simulation solution. It enhances the concept development process by enabling simulation-driven design to increase product’s efficiency, strength and manufacturability. This can lead to reduction in material consumption, development time, and overall cost.
Inspire enables users to create new design concepts as well as modify and optimize existing ones with full parametric modeling in simple and intuitive workflows. Users can exercise familiar, conventional parametric CAD like tools along with doing elegant freeform modeling with poly-NURBS/subdivision technology.
What You Will Do:
We are looking for a talented, highly motivated candidate to join Altair as a Software Development Intern in the Inspire programming team. As an intern you’d contribute to develop the next generation of shape design capabilities for the process of metal stamping. You’d be collaborating to discuss the requirements, propose and implement solutions, develop algorithms and implement workflows including user interface, deriving and automating from existing geometry features. You'd be working in an international environment, and by interacting with our developers you'd be guided to follow the best programming practices to produce high quality, testable and reusable code.
