About the Internship Program:

Over the course of 10 weeks, a select group of college and university students will join us, gaining valuable work experiences and insights into our most exciting products. Interns engage with Wizards’ beloved brands, gaining meaningful work-experience through day-to-day training, hands-on projects, executive exposure, individual development planning and mentorship.   • Our program runs between June 10 - August 16, 2024.
  • Our internships are paid!

Software Engineering Internships:

Internships are open to undergrads and graduate level students unless otherwise noted. Applying to this role will provide eligibility for all engineering roles open across our various teams.

We will do our best to match the team that fits your interests and experience, but applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis so availability may be limited.

Past Teams:

  • Magic the Gathering (Arena): Shows off the digital game of Magic to our players across the globe.
  • Digital Publishing (Platform Team & Software QA): The teams responsible for delivering online services that power our ecosystem of digital products and tools. They are a full stack team that does everything from service and web development to CI/CD automation and infrastructure!

What You Bring:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited, degree-seeking program majoring in computer science, engineering or related degree with at least one quarter or semester left after August 2024.
  • Available to work full-time hours for 10 weeks at our Southport location.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
  • Coding experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) languages i.e. C++, C#.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Familiarity with software development standard methodologies like unit testing, functional testing, integrated testing, CI/CD.
