Position Summary

Overview:

Great opportunity for an individual looking to gain unique internship experience in HR and Compensation. This role is great way to gain practical Compensation experience and knowledge with a foundation around a people first model. The HR intern will also support our core talent processes that help to develop or maximize DexKo employees in their current role or identify and prepare them for future contributions within the organization. The HR Intern will have the opportunity to work with employees in a variety of functions and locations domestically and internationally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

A. Compensation

  • Assist in day-to-day administration of Compensation programs, including base pay administration, short-term incentives (Annual Incentive Plan), and Sales Incentive Plans
  • Work closely with the HR teams to review and help monitor job descriptions
  • Get experience working with salary surveys and submission to third-party providers
  • Get experience with general compensation practices and processes, and other HR processes
  • Get experience with compensation benchmarking and market-pricing
  • Get experience in supporting the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) compliance efforts
  • Assist HR and Compensation with other administrative activities as needed

B. Performance Management

  • Support the organization’s performance management process (quarterly check-ins, annual reviews and related training tools and resources) for all levels and locations of the organization.
  • Administer the day-to-day operation of Performance Management software, including launching and monitoring forms, responding to team member questions, and partnering with HR Operations on related communication plan execution.

C. Employee Growth Programs

  • Support the development and implementation of enterprise-wide learning & development solutions including leadership development initiatives, soft-skills and technical learning approach (in partnership with business leads).
  • Support the on-going administration of DexKo’s Learning Management Software (LMS) and related Computer-Based-Training (CBT) offerings.

Requirements

Education Level: Junior or Senior Year of College

Educational Program/Area of Study: BA or BS, Preffered Human Resources, Finance, or Industrial/ Organizational Psychology or related field
