We are looking for a PhD Intern to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to our CTO and based on-site.

Location: This position will be based in SJ

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct cutting-edge research in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering to address complex technical challenges.
• Develop and implement novel methodologies, algorithms, or solutions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate research findings into practical applications.
• Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field and contribute to the intellectual environment of the organization.
• Mentor and collaborate with graduate students, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.

Skills and Experience:

• PhD in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering with a strong publication record.
• Expertise in high-temperature thermal management systems for solid oxide fuel cell microgrids and a deep understanding of related technologies.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages, tools, and experimental techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for presenting complex technical concepts.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research-driven environment.
• You are currently pursuing a PhD degree, and are successfully maintaining an above average GPA, preferably 3.0 or higher.
• This internship is scheduled to begin June 2024 and end on approximately August 2024.

Salary Ranges:

$22.79 - $34.74
