If you are a high energy, ambitious, result driven individual with strong work ethic and integrity, we would like to invite you to join our team as a SSD/Module Test Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible in supporting the overall SSD/Module Test Operations including, but not limited to, develop frameworks monitoring and improvement on Engineering performance to plan, develop valuable engineering solutions, and driving test yield continuous improvement projects for processes and Manufacturing cycle time. You will also provide support in product test proliferation and excursion management activities. 

Responsibilities 

Manufacturing Test Support 

  • Develop frameworks for monitoring and improve Engineering performance to plan 
  • Provide valuable engineering solutions to meet cycle-time improvement, cost reduction and quality performance goals 
  • Provide support in product proliferation test activities 
  • Support Quality team in excursion management activities 
  • Work closely with Test planning/manufacturing/engineering teams to ensure the smooth execution of Test manufacturing operations 
  • Collaborate with multi-functional team including Central/Site teams to overcome Test operation issues and challenges 
  • Work closely with manufacturing staff and shift technicians to realize output and quality goals 

Yield Improvement 

  • Drive continuous improvement projects in Test processes to improve operational efficiency and productivity 
  • Automate test equipment data gathering 
  • Perform engineering evaluations to drive equipment utilization. 

First Pass Debug Analysis 

  • Perform electrical and/or physical failure analysis on SSD drive level to understand the failure and drive fix for yield improvement with multi-functional team for both New Product Introduction (NPI) and High Volume Manufacturing (HVM). 

Continuous Improvement Projects 

  • Work on projects to improve overall test equipment efficiency and effectiveness 
  • Participate in improvement projects and execute to desired results 
  • Develop software to monitor test production floor and enhance productivity 
  • Review test plans regularly, explore opportunities for test-time cuts for mature products 

Training 

  • Prepare training and certification materials on failure analysis 
  • Conduct training courses and certification 
  • Document One-Point lessons 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor Degree in mechanical or electronic related Engineering 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with supported areas and peers and gain their trust and respect 
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills 
  • Ability to lead and participate in cross functional teams 
  • Demonstrate excellent project/time management and priority setting skills 
  • Self-motivated and hardworking with a pleasant personality.
