About Glovo XL:

XL is a Glovo business specialized in on-demand delivery of big basket orders. With a presence in Poland and Portugal, we provide our customers instant access to the inventory of the biggest Polish supermarket chain, allowing them to have their groceries delivered in less than 2 hours. 

Our current goal is to build world-class e-commerce and logistics applications for big basket orders. This will allow us to unify our technology in the geographies we currently operate in and take on new challenges.

Your Work Opportunity:

As a Finance Ops Specialist you’ll be working with and alongside talented and passionate people bringing support and owning finance and people ops processes. We are looking for a highly accountable, flexible individual, who is technically excellent, works hard, can nurture productive working relationships, and is willing to be hands on and contribute to our team.

You Will:

• Collaborate with Finance and People Team and learn from each other
• Support the accounts payable function and track priority items to be actioned by the Finance Lead
• Create/maintain filings processes for accounting functions and vendor records
• Perform data entry for accounts payable/receivable
• Process bank payments both internal and external
• Assist the Finance team with financial reporting to HQ
• Support the implementation of the department’s projects
• Support the Company’s decision-makers with any ad-hoc requests
• Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference
• Support People Team on maintaining physical and digital personnel records of employees and contractors
• Update internal databases
• Support in the internal communication and distribute guidelines and FAQ documents about company policies
• Assist The People team in the benefits management
• Act as the first point of contact for all HR enquiries

You are:

• BSc/BA or Master student
• Problem solver, data-driven with an analytical approach, proactive, autonomous, good vibes
• The ability to summarize and present complex issues in a simple way
• Focuses with continuous improvements and delivering value
• An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
• Good verbal and written English skills (B2 minimum)
