Juniper Test Engineering Intern

Seeking test engineers to help automate tests for Juniper suite of networking products including routers, switches and various other software applications. An intern at Juniper Networks will gain exciting real-world test automation capabilities along with industry standard business best practices at a thriving networking company.

The ideal intern will be enthusiastic and collaborative. 

About the position:

Work closely with geographically distributed engineering teams to automate tests for Juniper products. Build automation targeted at testing functional, manageability, customer, and performance related use cases for Juniper’s high-performance secure networking products.

Responsibilities

  • Build automation for the purposes of testing Juniper products
  • Execute tests and troubleshoot results
  • File tickets with software development teams and track to closure
  • Be a fast learner, proactive and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently while adopting to existing and newer technologies
  • Must possess outstanding problem solving skills

Requirements

  • Computer Science/Network Engineering
  • Understanding of basic networking protocols
  • Strong programming fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures 
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, GoLang.
  • Understanding of operating systems (Linux) and computer networking concepts 
  • Ability to work in teams

Minimum Salary: $61,875.00

Maximum Salary:$94,875.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $61,875.00 and $94,875.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
