Job Description

Robert Bosch GmbH is a major player in the global automotive market, and is developing perception systems powering autonomous driving functionality. In order to train deep learning systems to an adequate level, we need to provide our systems a lot of diverse data in many conditions. Data Loop is an approach involving a continuous cycle of training-infering-collecting new data and repeat in a continuous manner. In this position, we investigate some algorithmic approaches where we use Foundation Models to leverage the data loop efficiency.

We are looking for Graduates to do research on AI-driven Foundation Models for Data Loops in particular – one of the following topics:

• Vision Foundation Models
• Pre-Trained Vision-Language Models

• Duration: 5-12 months
• Create something new: As a research intern scientist you will conduct excellent research on a real-world project. The results will be published at the leading AI venues and transferred for implementation in Bosch products.
• Strong SW engineering capabilities: High proficiency in Python, Deep Learning frameworks, and CV methods in general.

Qualifications

Technical skills

• Currently pursuing (or completed) a PhD or MSc in CS / EE / IE / ME or related departments
• At least one submitted publication in a relevant international academic conference or journal
• Experience in CV methodologies, SOTA approaches, and Foundation Models

Personal skills

• Self-confident and responsible team player with excellent communication skills
• Initiative, highly motivated and motivating character for the team and partners
• Foreign applicants should arrange a work permit for Israel independently
