Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Finance Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside our Controller and finance team to support the daily financial operations of our organization. 

What you’ll do 

  • Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial reports
  • Support the Finance team in maintaining accurate financial records
  • Conduct research on financial trends and market conditions
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Help with invoice processing and reconciliation
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required
  • Manage day-to-day operation of Genius League events and activations including scheduling, task assignments, and reporting to Collegiate Leadership
  • Assist with the project planning, management, and delivery for Genius League activations
  • Digitally engage with fans, collegiate students, and universities

What you’ll bring

  • Must be currently enrolled in a program related to Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Juniors, Seniors, or master’s degree students
  • Minimum GPA 3.0 preferred
  • Knowledge of building and operating tournaments or events preferred
  • Knowledge of the gaming industry a must, endemic to Esports a plus
  • Knowledge of building and operating tournaments or events
  • Highly organized, driven & team-focused is a must
  • Ability to roll up your sleeves, enjoy relationship building & team work
  • Experience with analytics and creating reports
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to multi-task and organize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work as both an independent contributor and engage teams and teammates
