Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital’s 2-South unit is the complex medicine unit featuring 25 patient beds. Specializing in general medicine, the nursing caregivers of 2-South are responsible for the management of pre-surgical patients, advanced dressing changes, assisting with bedside thoracentesis/paracentesis, and patients admitted for antibiotic treatment and wound care. Nurse on this unit provide for a variety of patients including telemetry, amputations, and infectious diseases.
Our highly skilled nursing team is committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive nursing care that is evidence-based and always puts ‘Patients First.’ Our approach to patient care is one that is team-oriented and multidisciplinary, including registered nurses, physicians, nurse practitioners, physical and occupational therapists, dietitians, pharmacy support and case management. Program Offering Overview
For full-time nurses: up to $437.50 per month/lifetime maximum program benefit of $15,750
For part-time nurses: up to $218.75 per month/lifetime maximum program benefit of $7,500
Participates in a residency core curriculum based on their individual learning needs. Provides direct nursing care, alongside a coach, in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
