We are looking for you! We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented Data Architect Investment Solutions (f/m/d). This position will be based in our Frankfurt office.

You will be given the opportunity to grow and take on responsibility in an ambitious but exciting transformation journey within the investment management industry. Within the global Data & Technology team you will contribute to the design, implementation and orchestration of data architecture and analytical applications.

Within this exciting role, you will be responsible for researching and exploring new technologies to be included into the technology roadmap. Technology and Data play a crucial role in the success of our business. So you will have the chance to leave a footprint by delivering simple solutions to sophisticated problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in agile projects with an emphasis on Equity, Multi Asset and Private Market investment platform solutions
• Design and develop reliable and high-performing data architecture and application solutions, using our strategic data provisioning solutions and our Azure cloud setup
• Continuously improve data architecture solution for Investment decision support solution, portfolio cockpit functionalities, portfolio optimisation and research modules
• Design and implement modules of the data architecture solution within given highlevel structures demonstrating data platforms and cloud services achieving a fully integrated data ecosystem
• Understand and capture business and data requirements front-to-back from Investment and Portfolio Management Teams
• Design architecture solutions based on Azure SQL, Datalake, Data Factory or Python in line with strategic objectives, incorporating non-functional and regulatory requirements
• Act as third level IT specialist for Equity decision support systems
• Stay updated on innovative methods, new technologies and tools in the market
• Support the Solution Architect and Product Owner in the analysis and design of solutions based on new requirements
• Drive forward innovation and digitization initiatives incorporating non-functional and regulatory requirements

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience:

• University degree in Computer Science/Math/Science/Engineering or related field of study
• Ideally 3 years working experience in the development of data & technology solutions, ideally in the investment/finance industry
• Proven experience in designing, developing and implementing data architecture solutions using the Azure cloud environment with Azure SQL, Datalake, Dremio, Databricks, Azure Data Factory
• Experienced with SDLC tools (Jira, Visual Studio Code, Bitbucket, Jenkins, AzureDevOps, X-Ray), DevOps and CICD container solutions
• Strong business understanding of investment management and related data requirements
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, global and culturally diverse environment, able to take an agile approach
• Ability to work independently and solution-oriented with a high level of motivation to design and deliver best in class solutions
• Proficient in English required
