Job Description:
The Land Warfare and Air Defense (LW&AD) Finance team in Tewksbury, MA is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Japan program team as the Program Controls Manager. The Japan portfolio is comprised of various Patriot and Hawk DCS programs with a 30+ year history of co-production / co-development with our Japanese customer. The Program Controls Manager will be required to perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are performed within contract agreed-upon parameters. Responsibilities include: cost and schedule monitoring, monthly Earned Value reporting, development of quarterly EAC's, detailed financial analysis for both total CBT and functional area level cost elements to help define and understand the monthly variances to Budget baseline and EAC positions. The candidate will provide guidance on application of the RTN Earned Value Management system process 10255 policy within the program team. Financial planning responsibilities include supporting the business manager during the monthly forecast process, development of annual operating plans, and development of the five year strategic plan. Additionally, the Program Controls Manager is responsible for executing the quarterly international representative commission payment process and the associated accruals.
This position requires the ability to work independently and on several different program matters concurrently in a fast paced environment. Close collaboration and coordination with Program Management, IPT Leads, PPL Finance, and other functional representatives is necessary to ensure alignment and execution on programmatic and financial commitments. The selected individual for this role should be dedicated to continued process improvements and the building of efficiencies into all operational aspects of the organization. This position will support the proposal development process as required and will have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports.
