We have an excellent opportunity for someone to join the Patriot Systems Upgrades team within Raytheon Missile and Defense Systems’ Land Warfare and Air Defense Business Area located in Tewksbury, MA as an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Lead. As a critical member of the Upgrades finance team, the EVMS Lead will be responsible for all aspects of EVMS execution on this 500 Million dollar portfolio with a variety of customers and contract types.

The candidate will have significant exposure to senior leadership working closely with the Program Managers, Business Managers, Control Account Managers, and Integrated Product Team Leads to ensure flawless execution of all EVMS processes and analysis. Specific responsibilities for the EVMS Lead include ensuring complete, timely, and accurate program cost and schedule integration of the EVMS financial database (SAP), monthly EVMS reporting and analysis, management of program budget baselines including Budget Change Requests (BCRs) review and implementation, Variance Analysis Report (VAR) compliance and review, primary and secondary work authorization ownership and management, quarterly program Estimate at Complete (EAC) exercises, Inter-Organizational Transfer (IOT) coordination, budget implementation, and analysis, regularly reported contract CDRLs, and all other ad hoc tasks related to EVMS management of these critical programs.

The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring the program teams have full access to the most up-to-date EVMS tools and training, and that all internal and external policies and procedures related to EVMS execution are being communicated, implemented, and followed by all program team members.

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • EVMS certified/trained
  • Experienced user of SAP software
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Desired Skills:

  • Independent, self-motivated, and highly organized
  • In depth knowledge of EVMS process description 10255 and EVMS Standard Procedures 10-60
  • Strong EVMS analytical skills including metric analysis with CPI, SPI, TCPI, iEAC and other key indices
  • Proven ability to drive cost and schedule integration for DoD programs
  • Proven ability to drive EVMS cadence with a team of experienced and senior level Control Account Managers and Integrated Product Team leaders to ensure a quality EVMs product for internal and external customers.
  • Experience generating government CDRLs, including CPRs, using wInsight software
  • Experience using and managing a PMX tool suite
  • Has produced and implemented Budget Change Requests using PMX and APEX
  • Strong understanding of Schedule and Cost Variance and how impacts can effect quarterly financial results as well as program funding impacts.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to identify issues and implement corrective action plans that produce positive results
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Familiar with our company structure, products, vision, strategy, goals, and value

Required Education (including Major):

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or other related subject
