Job Title: Electromechanical Assembly Technician

Pay: $24-$30

Shift: 1st Shift 6am-2:30pm Monday-Froday

Responsibilities

• Perform thru-hole soldering on printed circuit boards.
• Assemble and build electronics products using small hand tools and power tools.
• Test and troubleshoot electronic subassemblies and final assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide assembly, soldering, and testing activities, where applicable.
• Operate basic computer systems and Linux-based tools as needed for documentation, test procedures, and production tracking

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment in electronics or electro-mechanical assembly and test.
• 3+ years of Thru Hole soldering experience.
• Hands-on electronics experience with experience working with transistors, resistors, and circuitry.
• Proficiency in assembly and troubleshooting of electronic subassemblies and final assemblies.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools, including crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, power tools, and air tools.
• Basic computer operation skills, including working with Linux-based systems.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints and schematics.
• Familiarity with J-STD standards for soldering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• J-STD Solder Certification is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics with confidence is desired.
• Experience working in electronics or electro-mechanical production environments.
• Comfort working with test equipment and troubleshooting tools.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pottstown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
