Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable Assembler to join a growing manufacturing team in Glen Mills, PA. This role involves assembling mechanical and electromechanical equipment, using hand and power tools, and working from blueprints and assembly drawings.
Responsibilities
- Assemble products using hand and power tools
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Perform basic quality inspections and testing
- Assist with troubleshooting and rework when needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow company safety and manufacturing procedures
- Work with team members to meet production goals
Qualifications
- Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or mechanical experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, or assembly drawings
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Experience
- Mechanical or electromechanical assembly
- Manufacturing or production environments
- Quality inspections and testing
- Measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)
- Light electrical assembly, wiring, or cable routing
Ideal backgrounds include: Mechanical Assembler, Production Assembler, Manufacturing Technician, Assembly Technician, Machine Assembler, Electromechanical Assembler, Maintenance Technician, Fabricator, or Machine Operator.
