SoftwareOne in Hungary is seeking a Data Engineer to design and implement data solutions in Microsoft Azure. In the role, you will operate within some of our most versatile and complex client

environments, utilizing technologies such as, but not limited to ETL tools, SQL, and Python.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise data architecture with a focus on Databricks and Azure cloud
• Design and implement scalable data solutions in Microsoft Azure based on project needs
• Develop cost-efficient, high-performance architectures across data ingestion, processing, and storage
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines and data models, with emphasis on finance analytics
• Establish and follow best practices for development, including version control, testing, and CI
• Support pre-sales, client dialogue, and advisory on cloud data platforms and integrations

What we need to see from you

What we need to see from you: (competencies, technical skills, requirements)

• Background working with Databricks and overall solid Azure experience
• Experience as a Data Architect/Engineer across Data Lakehouse, Data Lake, and Data Warehouse
• Knowledge of Databricks, Spark, and Data Lakes
• Proficiency with Azure Data Services, including Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL
• Knowledgeable with Python, PySpark, and SQL
