We are looking for an Engineer, Customized Solutions to join our team, where you’ll play a key role in developing and delivering special customer solutions. In this role, you will research requirements, generate creative mechanical design concepts, and evaluate the feasibility and value of customized product designs. You will work closely with cross‑functional partners across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations, gaining exposure to the end‑to‑end order fulfillment process from design to distribution.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Strong foundation in mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes, and material science
- Proficiency in Creo and other relevant engineering or design software
- Ability to create and interpret complex 3D models and mechanical drawings
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Understanding of tooling considerations and production constraints
- Exposure to aesthetic design intent in addition to functional requirements
- Familiarity with engineering standards, documentation, and design protocols
- Ability to evaluate concepts based on feasibility, cost, and value
- Experience working across manufacturing, supply chain, or operations environments
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and willingness to learn new systems and processes
What you will be doing:
- Develop and apply mechanical design principles to support customized product solutions
- Research customer needs and generate creative concepts and design alternatives
- Create and modify complex models and drawings using Creo
- Evaluate concepts and designs for manufacturability, cost, and overall value
- Apply and support Steelcase design standards, protocols, and engineering processes
- Work within Steelcase systems to support order fulfillment from manufacturing through distribution
- Communicate technical information clearly through written documentation, visuals, and presentations
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, customer‑specific solutions
