Autoliv, a global leader in automotive safety systems, is seeking a motivated Process Engineering Intern to join our Forward Program at the Gebze plant. We manufacture and market airbags, seatbelts and steering wheels. This internship offers practical, hands‑on experience in process engineering activities, project work and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support process engineering tasks across production lines, including process mapping, time studies and capacity analysis.
- Assist in the development and implementation of standard work, process flows and work instructions to improve efficiency and quality.
- Support continuous improvement projects using Lean tools, Poke Yoke, root cause analysis (8D) and data‑driven problem solving.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (production, maintenance, quality, project management) and report progress to project owners and management.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- A motivated, solution-oriented mindset with a strong willingness to learn
Who Are We Looking For?
- 3rd or4th‑year bachelor’s degree students studying Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing or related fields
- Available to work a minimum of 3–4 days per week
- Previous internship or project experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is desirable but not essential
- Interest in project work, process optimisation and continuous improvement
