Job Purpose:
Ensure safety agenda in the daily job. Operate and execute in a qualitative way the process and product related tasks, while improving the key performance indicators and production losses, leading to a safe working environment on machine/area. Performs tasks assigned by line manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Works in line with the defined and implemented safety, environmental and food safety standards. Following the 5S, Housekeeping and HACCP related to the workplace.
- Support all safety improvements using appropriate corrective measures (e.g. TPM, Bowties, ORR teams, positive interventions, minor interventions).
- Apply LSR principles, including do's and don'ts and updates others on safety improvements relating to observed unsafe conditions.
- Take action where unsafe situations or behaviours occur, give feedback and report to the relevant people.
- Safely shut down and start up equipment for the weekly maintenance.
- Act in compliance with HEINEKEN and local safety rules, standards, and procedures.
- Identify water and energy losses in their area of responsibility and suggest solutions.
- Implement environmental good practices.
- Makes all the quality checks in line with the standards and procedures as per the Heineken Brewing process standards (BPS) in all sections.
- Eensures timely supply of all raw, auxiliary and cleaning & disinfection material at the place of use.
- Identify quality issues in their area and Monitors quality of the product & process.
- Take part in improvement actions to prevent quality issues and contribute to quality-related analyses (e.g. DAS, RCFAs)
- Clean and disinfect to the expected level in line with recipe standards, SOPs and CILT.
- Perform quality checks in line with standards and take corrective decisions and actions when there is a quality issue.
- Executes the tagging process, CILT and applies problem solving tools. Participates in the improvement teams.
- Use the digital tools available to report the information required for the DCS (e.g. shift handover list, downtime reports, shift performance information).
- Restore and sustain basic conditions using the shop floor excellence tools displayed in digital applications (e.g. Swipe guide, Parsable and 5S).
- Participate in APM team methodology, steps 0-3.
- Take part in TPM improvement activities related to safety, quality, the environment, and performance losses in their area (BDA, RCFA, Kaizen, tag, De-tagging)
- Identify losses in the operation (extract, water, energy, material losses…etc).
- Executes all the Brewing operations on simple machines in line with the valid standards and manage documentation and reporting for the working area.
- Operate the equipment according to demand and seasonality (Peak and low Season).
- Perform basic standards for the Brewing process in their own area (all planned and routine activities – sampling, cleaning, start up and shutdown according to Standard Operating Procedures and machine processes).
- Contributes to the continuous improvement activities and in case of deviations reports it to the Brewing team leader.
- Operates the Brewing machines in your assigned section.
- Safely operate equipment in line with specifications and demand and ensure delivery OTIF.
- Restore and sustain basic conditions using the shop floor (Swipe Guide, Parsable and 5S /GMP/GHP).
- Apply tagging and de-tagging, prioritize the tags and eliminate equipment anomalies.
- Perform process and equipment checks to avoid deviations and production stoppages.
- Performs other duties assigned by the line manager
Job Requirements
Education
- Minimum bachelor’s degree level in Chemical Engineering
Experience and skills
- Minimum 0-1 years of production experience in a beverage or food manufacturing Company (FMCG).
