Job Summary
JetCool, a Flex Company, delivers patented direct-to-chip liquid cooling systems purpose-built for AI and high-density compute. The Pre-Sales Engineer based in Littleton, MA will be accountable for providing technical guidance and information to customers on a pre-sales and post-sales basis to enable delivery of design, fabrication and assembly goals, per customers’ expectations.
What a Typical Day Looks Like:
- Understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design and present solutions that align with business goals.
- Support sales teams during product demos, RFPs/RFIs and technical evaluations.
- Conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) deployments and workshops.
- Provide post-sales technical guidance and feedback to product teams.
- Collaborate with facilities and engineering teams to ensure solution feasibility.
- Use technical knowledge of products and associated development tools to assist customers on complex issues.
- Assist with the development of complex product roadmaps.
- Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with product and business development teams.
- Provide technical expertise during product development by defining customer product needs and translating these needs into new product recommendations and specifications.
- Review customer requirements, identify and communicate potential issues and provide recommendations that will meet both the capabilities Flex and the specifications of the customer.
- Identify and communicate existing and potential design issues both internally and externally.
- Coordinate product integration efforts between component suppliers, Flex and the customer.
- Develop and present technical seminars for customers and sales personnel to promote employers' manufacturing capabilities, services, available technologies, manufacturing process and quality.
- Work with customer representatives to coordinate vendor qualification surveys.
- Provide best in class, complex, technical assistance by answering and closing all customer and program management technical questions related to manufacturing capabilities including design, fabrication and assembly abilities.
- Define initial project/product scope and prepare project plans to meet customers' expectations.
- Prepare detailed project plans by documenting customers' requirements and incorporating design and manufacturing capabilities to meet customers’ expectations.
- Prepare and maintain required documentation.
- May be required to sit at customer site.
The Experience We’re Looking to Add to Our Team:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- 5+ years of industry experience, with at least 2 years in sales engineering, consulting or technical pre-sales roles
- Experience with solution architecture, integration projects and customer-facing engagements
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms or specialized technologies relevant to the product
- Ability to architect solutions and assess technical feasibility
- Familiarity with security, scalability and performance considerations
- Proficiency in responding to technical aspects of RFPs/RFIs and building solution documentation
- Experience with liquid cooling systems, data center design, or specialized hardware integration (especially relevant in your context)
- Ability to train sales teams on technical products and solutions
- Familiarity with commissioning and maintenance workflow
- Solid collaborating problem solving skills required
- Independent self-starter
- Ability to read the room and respond appropriately

$107,400.00 USD - $147,700.00 USD Annual
