Description

The Advanced Cores Group is seeking a motivated individual for an opportunity to contribute to key design verification tasks for Analog Devices’ next generation IPs, integrated circuits, design IPs, modules and systems. The Design Verification Intern will get a unique opportunity to work on enhancing the Metric-Driven Verification environments by adding components, easing debug, evaluating new tools & methodologies, and enhancing Metric-Driven Verification tools and solutions to boost Design Verification productivity across ADI. This role requires an energetic individual with strong communication, organization, and technical skills who works well in a diverse environment across a geographically distributed organization.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Understand the architecture of the design IP, functional block or system being verified.
  • Write design verification test bench components and/or tests and help debug simulation failures.
  • Develop scripts and automate tasks associated with design verification infrastructure.
  • Develop metric tracking & logging utilities as well as web dashboards to display them.
  • Implement logical checkers using SystemVerilog Assertions

Minimum qualifications

  • Candidate MUST be currently pursuing a BS/MS degree in EE/CE or related technical field(s)
  • Knowledge of Verilog / SystemVerilog
  • Familiarity with UVM
  • Familiarity with Programming/Scripting languages such as Perl/Python
  • Must have effective interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with a scripting language (Python, C, etc.)
  • Strong general coding, object-oriented programming, and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing concepts and Converters
